I'm Lauren Taylor, the one woman show behind Laurel Crowned. I'm an illustrator and graphic designer living in the hills outside of Sacramento, CA with my husband Kyle, my dog Max, my horse Sonny, and whatever other animals make their way to my little hamlet. Like the quote posted at the top of this introduction, I have a restless longing for adventure. I love to explore and my definition of a good time is a spur of the moment road trip with my husband, my dog, and if possible, my horse.

My work is whimsical and a little bit surreal. I'm primarily a digital artist, and if you stumbled upon me out in the wild, I would most likely have my ipad pro tucked under my arm. I do dabble with watercolors, oils, and acrylics, but the digital world is where I feel most at home.

I currently hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rocky College of Art + Design and loved every second of time spent at that college. While I greatly enjoy illustration work, graphic design and visual brand cohesion is something that I have had a deep love for the majority of my life. I love to come up with creative solutions to design problems, and would love to help you create a visual brand that serves your business and clients with the utmost integrity and ingenuity.
